Covid Excuse I Guess, But No People?

They’ve been sweating bullets for four years. And they are now convinced that they have re-secured their complete and total hold on power in Washington. But I think they know that it’s fleeting. They’re gonna do everything they can to make sure it’s not fleeting.
Limbaugh adds they all have “deep, dark crevices where they engage in deep thoughts about themselves.” And inside, they know with 74 million who did not vote for Joe Biden, they can’t say to themselves they represent the country’s power base. So “they’re gonna to have to take [power —] hold on to it and never let go of it. They have not legitimately won it.”
Look at the “victims coalition” that just won power for the elite: unmarried women, Blacks, Latino, other Browns, LGBTQIN. They supplied the votes that returned America’s elite to power. Coalition leaders are now insiders, part of America’s establishment.
But how do the “identity politics” divisions help the members below? Wouldn’t they be happier if they saw more jobs, higher-paying jobs, jobs with a future, and if our public education system prepared them for better jobs? Wouldn’t they prefer the pre-Covid policies developed by what Peek calls “Trump’s Republican Party”?
To simplify, Democrats re-cut the pie to help their coalitions while hurting other Americans; they don’t enlarge the pie. Trump Republicans work the economy to make the pie bigger.
That wasn’t so in the Franklin Roosevelt-to-Bill Clinton era. “It’s the economy, stupid!” — that slogan then Democrat, now trending Republican.
