Our Cheatin' Harris?
Didn’t ABC feed some version of its questions to Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of her crucial debate with Donald Trump?
Not only was she prepared with canned answers for every question that came up, she also seemed unusually relaxed for this consequential, first encounter with Trump, the man whose debate had destroyed President Biden just 75 days earlier. It was as if Harris knew in advance how the debate would play out.
Your not shocked, right? In 2016 Hillary Clinton, far more experienced and poised on the national stage, benefited from CNN debate questions fed to her by Democratic Chair Donna Brazile in advance of a Clinton primary debate.
We won’t find proof that ABC tipped off Harris. By now, operatives have learned to watch what goes into emails such as Brazile’s eight years ago. The ABC information would have passed to the Harris team without a paper trail. Look. Today, we don’t even know whether or not Harris actually worked at McDonalds, as claimed.
We do know Democrats aren’t leaving their recapture of the White House to chance, especially after their close call with Biden.
Megyn Kelly has told us that Dana Walden, who runs ABC News, is a close personal friend of Harris. Walden is responsible for Harris and her husband meeting! No wonder the debate seemed like three against one.
The whole experience really upset Kelly (language all hers’):
When Trump tried to say that he lost 2020 by a whisker was him being sarcastic, David Muir actually interjected, saying, "I didn't hear sarcasm." Who gives a shit what you heard? Who died and left you political analyst-in-chief? You're supposed to be the objective news anchor of *World News Tonight.* That's a comment you make to your significant other, David, not in the debates. "It didn't sound like that to me." Shut up. That is inappropriate. It's not for you to make that call.
Kelly was especially bothered by this obvious ABC News tactic:
"Mr. Trump, you said something incredibly controversial and terrible. Let me remind you of what it was. Do you have any regrets or thoughts on how terrible you were?"
Trump answers.
"Vice President Harris, how bad is Trump?" And then she'd answer. It happened over and over again. That was the format. "Mr. Trump, you're a piece of shit. Kamala Harris, isn’t”

As to the debate moderators, Muir is a homosexual, and Davis is a black, elite college graduate with a black husband and child. Both are members of Democratic core groups (LGBT, affirmative action beneficiaries, media stars) committed to keeping our progressive elite in power via Kamala Harris.
Muir’s “World News Tonight’s” news reports were 100% positive for Harris since she entered the race, according to the conservative Media Research Center.
Davis at last month’s Democratic convention asked Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer what she thought of KKK protesters marching “in the streets with the white robes on,” seemingly supporting Trump.

The bias against Trump is so transparent. It amazes me that so many support Harris. Need to pray and bring our country back to its roots.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a piece. Innuendo planted and generously watered with questions (raised eyebrows?) and suppositions. Harris was calm and crisp, as if that makes her guilty. Hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteTrump was off message, unfocussed and easily distracted. That was the reason he did not do better, and Harris's answers, in which she skillfully slipped from the question to her message had little to do with Trump's poor performance. Did the moderators let her off easily? It certainly seemed so, but did they give her the questions in advance? The only answer to that is-- no one knows.
The blog is pretty standard Fox News stuff. However, it is the third para from the end which is strange (weird?). The author apparently seems to think that Muir's sexual orientation and Davis's race are factors . . . .but in what? Does he mean to imply that gays and black people are more likely to engage in dishonest and deceitful behavior? If not, why bring it up? As for the "elite" school dig, isn't the author himself is the product of elite schools?
The second to last sentence is meaningless. We don't know what the Media Research Center is, how one measures the reports and what positive means. Likewise the last sentence is confusing. Who is "seemingly supporting Trump"? Davis who asked the question, or Whitmer who supposedly answered it. And what difference would it make when trying to figure out if Harris had the questions in advance?
Ohhhh, where's my editor?
We’re both speculating. But look here! First-string political commentator Newt Gingrich, the former House Speaker, said about the debate on September 11, the same day our blog entry appeared:
ReplyDelete"As for the two presidential candidates: Vice President Harris was clearly better prepared than most Republicans expected. In some cases, her answers were so clearly memorized it gave the impression that she might have seen the questions in advance."
That’s two of us. How about you?
As Mencken once said, “the idea of an honest politician is as unthinkable as that of an honest burglar.” ‘Nuff said, I think.
