They Fight an Internal Enemy. Is It Us?
if the defining issue of American politics becomes a defense of democracy against Trumpist insurrection, that. . . may be the factor that will lock Republicans into a permanent minority position that will determine the outcome in 2024 and beyond. . . the impeachment trial isn’t just an act of revenge. It is a vehicle for making the culture war about Trump a permanent feature of American politics.

Of course, Silicon Valley leans left. Top executive political donations went to Joe Biden as did 95% percent of employee contributions. And last month, they censored Trump and many of his voters, then eliminated free speech competitor Parler.
Now Facebook has created a new “vice president of civil rights.” He’s an ex-Obama administration official focused on “systemic” police racism. Zuckerberg also has a global “oversight board” paid to legitimize his going after conservatives, now called “domestic terrorists.”
A whistleblower obtained a tape displaying Zuckerberg’s moral superiority as he explains Facebook’s new “mission” to an internal audience. He’s moving the company away from connecting friends and family to connecting people with “communities” that can “develop our values.”
The reason for that is . . . being able to rebuild the social fabric in our country and around the world . . . Strong family and friends is important [but] communities . . . help us develop as people and develop our values.
Zuckerberg said Facebook’s values align perfectly with the Biden agenda, especially on immigration and racial “equity.”
Areas like immigration, preserving DACA, and ending restrictions on travel from Muslim-majority countries, as well as . . . on climate and advancing racial justice and equity.
Devine believes Biden’s talk of “equity” is a dangerous, Marxist doctrine that means equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity, a doctrine that led to millions of deaths in 20th century totalitarian regimes.
Zuckerberg’s thrust is a “chilling abuse of power.”
Zuckerberg’s “vice president of civil rights,” Roy Austin, declared to the assembled Facebookers he wants “every major decision [at Facebook] to run through a civil rights lens . . . to make. . . this country live up to its ideas.”
So Facebook orthodoxy will be the factually inaccurate view that police are “systemically” racist.
Zuckerberg’s social-media platform that most people use to talk to family and friends is becoming a left-wing propaganda machine with the “number one priority” of “making progress on the big social issues that [Facebook] and the internet are at the center of.”
Such as fighting "domestic terrorism."
