Tucker Carlson Tonight's popularity has drawn National Security Agency interest. After Carlson reported a whistleblower with a connection to the NSA showed Carlson the cable newsman's own private email traffic, the NSA issued a statement saying, "Tucker Carlson has never been an intelligence target of the Agency and the NSA has never had any plans to try to take his program off the air." 

 Hmm. Never "an intelligence target"? No "plans to try to take his program off the air"? That's not exactly "We never read his emails." In lawyer talk, NSA is admitting they monitor Carlson.
